Wrought clad bunka

Even though this bunka is a san mai build (a knife made from 3 layers), the cladding appears to be made up of multiple different layers of material. This is down to the etching process applied to the wrought iron - loads of the character and texture innate in the wrought is forced to the forefront as the acid etch starts to work its magic! 
 
This Knife would make an excellent pick up for anyone looking to add a straighter edged workhorse to thier collection; its cut me oncew already too so it has that extra bit of soul in it!

- Clad in etched wrought iron with a high carbon tool steel core of 1095
- Usable dimensions of 50x170mm, with a total length of 185mm
- 120x23x25mm (LxWxH) Bog oak handle carbon dated to 3300BC that gently tapers in towards the heel of the blade
- Distal taper through the spine from 3mm - 1mm before the tip
- Total weight of 169g
